As I\u2019m getting older, I\u2019m slowly learning how important \u201ccommunity\u201d is to me. <\/span><\/p>\n

Growing up, in friendship groups I\u2019ve always felt a bit different, a bit judged and like I don\u2019t fit in 100% or live up to expectations.. (which I don\u2019t think anyone would necessarily believe of me.. being the person I am on the outside!)<\/p>\n

But I\u2019ve learnt especially this year what makes me truly happy and fills that kind of lonely, fearful void, is community. <\/span><\/p>\n

I am part of 4 incredibly strong, supporting and encouraging communities at the moment, and I get so much out of them and the way they build each other up, that I am SO much happier and fulfilled now. <\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s such an amazing feeling. \u263a\ufe0f Yesterday, I became part of another of these incredible communities and I had the best time doing so!<\/p>\n

I attended a posing workshop for @natkitneyposingcoach \u2019s posing champions from all different federations. <\/span><\/p>\n

We did a mock competition in front of a real judge and got to put all our hard work to practice, in a safe and supportive environment. ?<\/p>\n

We also got feedback from the judge and from Nat at the end, which was so helpful. ??<\/p>\n

The best part was, that some of us are competing against each other but we all cheered and screamed and encouraged each other like we were besties from the start! We all felt vulnerable and nervous, made mistakes, and doubted our abilities, but we backed each other and supported each other and became a community. <\/span><\/p>\n

I loved every minute of it. <\/span><\/p>\n

And I loved that I actually got up there in front of a bunch of other girls and did what I had literally learnt that day! ?<\/p>\n

I had so much fun and had so much admiration for all those beautiful girls, but what I really got to see, was that we are ALL human, all nervous, all in the same boat and trying our damned best. And we ALL understood that and supported each other. ???<\/p>\n

I\u2019m so grateful for that experience and I\u2019m so grateful to feel part of yet another beautiful, strong community. ?<\/p>\n
