What’s the difference in posing between federations?
ICN ➡️ IFBB ➡️ WBFF
Under posing specific to the federation you are competing with. Knowing the differences and what each Federation specifically looks for with in bikini and fitness posing is absolutely crucial to being competitive in federation you have chosen to compete with.
Yes some posing can be crossed between federations but what I have found as I coach is that each Federation has differences in what they look for with their competitors on stage.
With my competition rehearsal workshops I invite judges out to attend and rehearsal judge our workshops- this is where as a coach I get a judges perspective of EXACTLY what each different federation scores highly with posing & exactly what they look for. When a client comes to me with goals of competing in either ICN, WBFF, ANB, IFBB or WFF I know exactly how to coach them specifically to that federation.
Imagine if you’re placing was decided just simply because the specific Federation you competed in didn’t like the way you are holding your hands in a backpose but you didn’t know any better. It’s knowing the little things like this as a Posing coach that contribute to helping my clients achieve overall titles and being competitive on stage.
