“Okay. So in all honesty, I have put off entering The Ultimate Fitness Bikini Sponsorship…because I wasn’t sure I was deserving. But my number 1 friend asked me this morning why anyone is more deserving than me? And I didn’t have an answer. So here goes.
I am no beauty queen. Competing for me isn’t about the glam and the g…lory. For me competing is about conquering fears. In the last 12 months I have transformed from a women limited of choice by her anxiety – into a women who is strong, dedicated and living with the aim to be a model of fitness to those around her. I wake with the drive to inspire those around me to get up and get at it. No matter what it is, if you love it, then live it!
I am unique. Boy am I unique. But the fact that no other competitor had dreadlocks last season did not hinder me. I am dedicated and work every day to create a bigger and better me. But above all, I believe that I deserve to win this sponsorship because I am proof that the only limitations to achieving your dreams, are those you place upon yourself.
The people involved with the sponsorship helped me every step of the way to stage in 2016, and continue to do so in 2017. This would be an honoured opportunity to give back.”
