It’s a sad fact but so many people are threatened by your SUCCESS… In competing and in life…
Lately I’ve been seeing so many competition photo posts with the #compspam, my thoughts… It’s not spam but a post of a reflection not only of the incredible physique you built but of a champion mindset of passion, discipline, commitment, consistency, focus, hard work and dedication you have put in that so many others in life will never be able to achieve them…selves & for some of those people your post is quite a confronting reality for them….
The pathway of trying to achieve something for yourself very quickly exposes the true nature of everyone around you. Well-meaning friends and family do not understand what you are going through unless they have prepped before You can almost polarise your friends etc, just by dedicating yourself to something, succeeding in something and brining a better stronger faster sharper you! This however in turn challenges the people around you, it makes them question their own SUCCESS.
That’s why bodybuilding can sometimes be a lonely sport and I believe really unless you have experienced the journey to stage you will never understand it.
It’s a shame the world can’t all just be behind you with everything you do, but that’s just life! But the rewards of what you achieve and those who are left in the end are ten fold the best gift ever!
So never #compspam be proud of everything you have achieved and those who aren’t happy for your success or inspired by your hard work and dedication are the ones who shouldn’t be on your Facebook or Instagram page, let alone in your life.
Life is too short to waste your precious time and energy on those who don’t appreciate yours!
